Can I improve quality of thumbnails? was created by Morten Abrahamsen
Hi
I have been trying to implement this module on some of the websites I have made but the customers are complaining about the quality of thumbnails that Impage Gallery Pro generates.
I have set it to 100% in the settings. All pictures are uploaded in 800x600
I wanted to attach 2 files but your "add file" button is not working. Tried from Firefox and Chrome
I therefore send 2 links to demonstrate:

www.magleby.dk/
Frontpage 9 pictures manually resized in photoshop by resizing 800 x 600 images

www.magleby.dk/billed-album-2013/2014/ol-pa-tvind
Here i have used Simple Image Gallery to resize the same quality of pictures

As you can see the quality is not to great on the Simple Image Gallery Thumbnails

Question:
Is there a way to improve the quality of thumbnails by entering into a php file and change the default settings for this generation higher or is there no way.
I think its good to adress this as you have a very good module but all my 3 clients has complained about it and on one website i had to uninstall it and basically resize them myself in JCE editor to maintain the good quality.

Thanks for your time

Hi. First of all you need to enter 100 in the quality box, not 100%. If you have done so, there is nothing more you can do. This is how PHP is resizing images. Of course it cannot meet the Photoshop quality. However i don't think that the quality is that bad.
