Ok, i am looking for a platform where users can register for a website and have an account where they can upload photos (public and private). Something open ended where it could be tied into other databases would be helpful. If there could also be an album function and slideshow function that would be great.
Basically a public or private hosting for a users photos. Each photo could have a user description, maybe even add fields to put location of picture. I would also like the photo to be able to be linked out when public. The album and slideshow functions I could do without for the time being but an open platform where this could be implemented would be preferred.
Another great feature would be a "friends" feature for registered users. I know i am asking for a lot and will probably have to build a system on my own, but am just trying to prevent re-inventing the wheel is something similar is already created.
