In the coming week we're launching 2 versions of our very popular plugin, Simple Image Gallery.

The first one is the free v1.3 (update) which includes caching and the latest Slimbox update.

The second one and much anticipated by many, is v1.0 of the "professional" (commercial) version, called Simple Image Gallery PRO. This PRO version has some extra goodies on (individual captions, multiple popup generators, launch-slideshow-from-single-thumbnail feature, image ordering, different thumbnail creation mechanism, multiple language support (already includes 4-5 languages) etc. and will sell for just 12 Euros.

Since some folks asked about the captions/labels and how they're gonna be implemented, here's a small excerpt from inside the forum.

To insert captions you'll need to add a text file to the image folder. This file simply contains lines like these:

filename.jpg|description of caption
otherimage.gif|cool feature
...
etc.

You get the point, it's the fastest and easiest way ever to get captions.

Regarding the individual titles, well, didn't you see the bottom of the link I provided??? Captions ARE POSSIBLE now, with the SIG Pro!

Just wanted to tell everyone additionally, that I have added support for jQuery as well and intend to add 1-2 goodies more before the tomorrow release!  :D
