Hi Everyone,

Is there a way to URL link to an Simple Image Gallery PRO gallery within a K2 article?
The website contains long lists of construction projects (some with galleries, some note). The client would like to be able to click on a project in the list and have the gallery light box 'pop-up'.

Project XYZ
Boston, MA
New York, NY
Miami, FL
etc...

We have a gallery for the Boston, MA project. They would like to click Boston, MA and have the gallery lightbox display.
Inserting even a small thumbnail through the "SIGP" button would not look good in such a dense list.

Is there someway through the article URL link window?

Hello Tamara.

You can modify the template to display text links instead of thumbnails and use the single thumbnail mode so only the first text link gets rendered.

Forgive me if these are basic questions.

I will still need to use SIGP in thumbnail display. But, I also need the option to display the same gallery as a link within a K2 article. Here's the setup:

Gallery Tab - all galleries are displayed here using SIGP in thumbnail mode using the code {gallery}Name{/gallery} within a K2 article.
Projects Tab - the client lists all their projects here, but only a few have galleries (displayed in the galleries tab). It is here that I will need to have a text link to the SIGP gallery.

So each gallery within SIGP will have a thumbnail and a text link.

If the template can be modified to accommodate this, I would need some guidance on how to proceed as to not effect my thumbnail galleries.

Hi. There is no way to create links to galleries. You can only create links to items/articles that have galleries. If you want to have a link which will open the gallery directly then the gallery should placed in the same page. Single thumbnail mode will just show one thumbnail per gallery. Finally note that official support for commercial extensions is provided in the Subscriber Help Desk.
