Caching problem and Resizing Images in Popup

I did a quick scan and search and didn't see these particular issues.

1. I installed SIG Pro and it was fine in creating the thumbnails in proper order and triggering the various popups.  However, when I refreshed the page, the thumbnails just lined up in one column and when you click on a thumbnail, the image opens in a new tab/window. If from the Joomla Admin panel, I clear the content cache, it works again. I can turn off caching, but it would be nice to keep caching on. Any ideas?

2. Is there any way to resize the images in the popup to limit it to say 800x600 max in case there are big images in the gallery (in case clients are lazy and don't downsize images for the website).  I know other gallery mambots have that capability. I use some RocketThemes, so whichever is the best option for the popup will be the relevant one I will use.

Thanks for any help that the community can provide!

The resizing is not supported by the current popup engines. Either way, it is best if you did some resizing to them before publishing, because, as you know, big images take time to load. Use a program like www.irfanview.com to do quick batch resizing of your images.
