SOLVED SIG + Virtuemart + mootools? was created by twotonz
Hi all,
Firstly, thanks to the developers of this fine extension.
I have a question. I am using SIG-Pro 1.2 and use it successfully on the front page (apart from the joining gallery problem) and on a few other content pages. I thought that it would be quiet nice to have the gallery also on some of the product pages in Virtuemart. Unfortuanatly, wenn adding the code and saving, instead of the gallery I am getting a print out of the code on the created html.
I have read in a few other posts that there is a compatability problem with mootools, which I think I have running. Could it be, that this is stopping me from useing SIG with VM?
Thanks in advance
anthony

Hi my friend!
If i'm remember right, there is in this forum a post with how you can include SIG PRO in VirtueMart.
About mootools you can do 2 thinks
1st select an popup engine that doesn't use mootools like Lytebox or Greybox
2nd if you really want to use mootools in SIG PRO need to write manual in your template the "call" of the mootools library once! Cause now will be called 2 times cause your script and sigpro mambot!
Try first to do the 1st solution! ;)
Thank you!

Hallo Vinikey,
Thanks for the response. Trying out the different engines in SIG, I have tried allready. Only one works for the existing gallerys, Greybox. I searched the forum yesterday, and found only 2 posts concerning VM, ermm, do have the link still?
Anyway, very pleased with the gallery. I have it in use on a couple of pages, and it really adds a bit of spice. If I do not manage to get it to work with VM (plus all the other extensions), I shall not be too disapointed.
Love & Peace

Hi my friend!
Yeap, there are not a post how integrate sig at VirtuemArt!
I was remembered this post
forum.joomlaworks.net/index.php?topic=35.0
that say how integrate allvideos at virtuemart
This post can help you, cause both sig pro and allvideos are plugins ( mambots )
and you can use the same mode!
Lytebox doesn't work for you?!
Strange, cause this is based on JQuery and usually is work on sites with mootools library!
Have you a link to see the issue!?
Thank you!

In order for SIG Pro to function within Virtuemart, you need to tell Virtuemart to process plugins.
See here for a more detailed explanation and the hack to do that:
www.plainlycode.com/virtuemart/joomla-plugins-in-virtuemart.html
The new VM 1.0.14 will feature plugin processing natively. ;)

Hi,
yo, thanks for the link, I had just found it myself, and wanted to mark this post as solved. The hack works fine on the development site, just need to apply it to the live site now.
Love & Peace
