I've searched through forums and have noticed a few of these threads already, but none of the answers posted seemed to to fix it for me. I'm sorry if this seems like a duplicate.

I'm using a Rocket Theme template (Vortex) and anytime I click on a thumbnail, the image opens in a new window.

I've tried all of the different pop-up engines, and was sure to clear my cache, but nothing seems to work.  It continues to open the main image in a new window.

Any information you can share with me would be greatly appreciated!  I love this feature, and can't wait to have it up and running properly.

Thank you for your help - you're right... it is working on that page.  But, its not working on the "home" page.  Its also not aligning correctly on the home page.  Any thoughts on what I should do??

Its me again.  :D

The alignment in the home page IS working fine (it was a cache issue on my end which I now cleared).  But, the images continue to open in a new window and when I return to the home page, I noticed a small white box on the screen.  Here's an image of it:

Well, the problem i believe is on the use of the slimbox popup engine!

The fpss use the mootools library
and the slimbox too.

Try to change the popupo engine to Lytebox or Greybox ( use other javascript library ) to avoid the conflicts!

Try it and let me know if the issue still exist!

I am having exactly the same issue with my site. I am using the "Simple Image Gallery (in content items)" plugin. I keep getting that same white box in the middle of my page, and then the main image open in a new page. I have read the above suggestion, however it doesn't make much sense to me (excuse my ignorance) could you explain in more simple terms how I might resolve this?

can you my friend give us a link to see the issue in action?!
probably is a conflict between the javascript of the sig pro with other module/mambot javascript
Select from the mambot edit page a different popup engine. like Lytebox that use javascript with no conflicts with mootools or jquery js libraries.
