Won't work correctly in ie7 was created by Gregory Barton
Have tried everything, here's a link:
www.whoreboards.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=72&Itemid=63
it opens fine, you can click on the thumb and it works, but if you mouse over the menubar, the thumbnails dissapear and you have to reload the page.
I have tried turning off JCE (which I don't want to do) removing the xml declaration (which doesn't fix it and destroys the page layout completely) replacing the menu with the generic Joomla menu (no effect).
It works fine in all other browsers - but this is the browser that most people use so I have to make it work here. Any help?

Can anyone help with this? Very disappointing - if it would work in ie it would be great, otherwise, we can't use it.

To reitterate the problem - it works fine, except that if you mouse over the page menu in ie7 the thumbs all turn into outlines. Otherwise it works. There's no reason to need to turn off declarations or anything else - that's a problem with this product ONLY. Can anyone shed any light on this? Anyone home? This would be a great product if it were stable and working across common browsers. >:(

I have got a similar problem with IE7. Every time i load a page with a sigpro gallery the last thumbnail is not displayed at all. But if the window of the browser is resized then it appears.
In the begging in IE7 not thumbnails was displaying at all. I uncommented
.sig {
....
position:relative;
}
in file sigpro_default.css and then the thumbs started working fine in IE7 except the problem i previously described.
I also do not have any thumbs shown in IE6. No matter i have tried i can not make IE6 to work with thumbs..

I have the same problem of SIG v1.2.1 not working in IE7 but working in other browsers (Firefox, chrome, Safari).
It crashes in IE7, on ALL pages which contain a gallery of pics.
To see crash, view with IE7,
www.whatididonthisday.com/component/blog_calendar/?year=2008&month=12&day=31&modid=33
I use Joomla 1.5.8
Would appreciate if anyone came up with a solution.

I got SIG to work on my website with IE.
What I did was to move and edit two lines of codes from jwsig.php
- Delete these two lines from jwsig.php
<link href="'.$mosConfig_live_site.'/plugins/content/plugin_jw_sig/sig.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
<style type="text/css">.sig_cont {width:'.($_width_+30).'px;height:'.($_height_+20).'px;}</style>
- and add them to my template, in this case ja_purity/index.php
Add this to IMMEDIATELY before </head> of template:
<link href="plugins/content/plugin_jw_sig/sig.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
<style type="text/css">.sig_cont {width:130px;height:120px;}</style>
When I add them to just anywhere on the within <head> </head>, it still did not work. Do not know why is has to be the last line before </head>
