Hi guys

I am a newbie who purchased the PRO versionn to install into Joomla 1.5, the zip version was 1.2.  After logging in to the back end of my website (under construction) and then upload via the extensions/install module the following error message came up

• JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
• JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
• JFTP::write: Bad response
• Unable to write entry

Unable to find instal package

Whilst I have been able to work out most things, what have I done wrong??
I did have a look around the forum, but maybe I missed something.  any pointer would be welcome.

Edited 15 Feb:  Well it seems that no help is coming.  Very Very dissappointed, paid in good faith for what was sold as a working release for Joomla 1.5.  At this stage I think that I will just forget the whole thing and move on and write it all up to a bad purchase.

many thnks

Yeah support at this site SUCKS!!!!

I'm working through similar issues and am making some small progress though it's still not working as it should.

A Few things, check the write permissions on your images folder and also the temp fold in the same default images directory. You want write access on both of those.

Also due to a coding error in SIGPro you can only use lowercase file names with no special characters. Avoid using bmp and make sure jpg, gif or png is in lower case.

Best of luck!

Brent

Hi my friend!

I believe you have activated the FTP during the installation of the joomla.
This is a common error in Joomla.
If you search the joomla forum will find a lot of JFTP::mkdir errors

Try to switch off the JFTP and try to reinstall the plugin.

or modify the configuration file
var $ftp_enable = '0';
var $ftp_host = '';
var $ftp_port = '';
var $ftp_user = '';
var $ftp_pass = '';
var $ftp_root = '';

var $tmp_path = 'tmp';

Thank you!
