What version of sig pro are you using? For j!1.0 or j!1.5?

Check the permissions of the temporary folder ( they must be 777 or 644 )
Also check the extensions of the images ( if they are with uppercase latter, change them to lowercase )
Check also if the GD2 graphic library support all the internet images ( jpg, gif, png )
