[SOLVED] Undefined index and Undefined offset was created by Michael Walenius
Hi!
After installation, configuration and adding an article with a tagged image gallery I get the article to show with a range of lines saying:
Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /path_to_directory/mambots/content/plugin_jw_sigpro.php on line 75
or
Notice: Undefined index: c9e60e5661a2ec55635204b77a35390c in /path_to_directory/mambots/content/plugin_jw_sigpro.php on line 241
These are not the only lines. I get 21 of those...
I have walked through the troubleshooting section of the installation and corrected catalog permissions etc. Nothing changes the error messages.
Any one that has experienced this before and are able to help out?
Kind reards
Michael

I'm guessing error lines match images?

Hi!
In my folder I have 9 pictures of jpg-format. I get three lines with offset problems:
Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /path_to_directory/mambots/content/plugin_jw_sigpro.php on line 78
Notice: Undefined offset: 2 in /path_to_directory/mambots/content/plugin_jw_sigpro.php on line 79
Notice: Undefined offset: 3 in /path_to_directory/mambots/content/plugin_jw_sigpro.php on line 80
and 18 lines which all points to the same lines in plugin_jw_sigpro.php:
Notice: Undefined index: 3f07bc4c5d2b6b0997473ebfc6aacd13 in /path_to_directory/mambots/content/plugin_jw_sigpro.php on line 242
Notice: Undefined index: 3f07bc4c5d2b6b0997473ebfc6aacd13 in /path_to_directory/mambots/content/plugin_jw_sigpro.php on line 262
Besides the error messages the thumnails show up below these messages and clicking on them makes the larger picture show, as supposed. So everything works except all the annoying error messagas/notifications.
I have downloaded version 1.1 but that didn't help. I have not changed a thing in the default configuration and the picture folder I have experimented with permissions. Nothing helps.
Kind regards
Michael

i managed to fix this by changing the error reporting to 'simple' in the global config section on the joomla admin app. im guessing the erros produced are only warnings and not major errors that mess with the site.

Hi,
I had the same problem, so I switched error reporting to Simple, but nothing happened. Still a lot of errors, so I switched error reporting to None. Even then I still had the error messages.
A few days ago however, everything worked fine. So I guessed it had something to do with something I installed the last few days, after the plugin. So, to start I tried to uninstall a recently installed component, perForms, which I wanted to use for forms on my site, and guess what ? Problem solved. I'm not very deep into Joomla, so I have no clue what the problem could have been, but if it could help others...
