URGENT : Image type not supported was created by JEAN-MARC SIMONIS
Hello

I've purchased both commercial products here and now I'm trying to get Simple Im Gall Pro to work on my site (Joomla 1.5.3)
The plugin installed correctly and the permissions on the folders are ok
but when I enable the plugin I get a error saying

Through to the Frontpage I click on one image and I get this message
Warning: getimagesize(/<some directories>/img_1178.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /<some directories>/plugins/content/jwsigpro/sigpro_engine.php on line 86
Image type not supported

The problem is the name of the file is tranlated in lowercase

When can you produce a new version.

Regards

it is not that .jpg image type is not supported, it is just the problem with upper case letters in file or folder names.

Ab01 will cause a problem, ab01 will not.

If everything is in lower case, then it works.

Of course, this may require a lot of changes to an existing web site, so a fix in a new version would be the optimal solution.

I have read that in here more than once, but when I went back and relabeled the file names to a.jpg and b.jpg, I still get the error, this is the second website I have installed this product on, and I have a lot more business in the coming future that I will want to purchase this product and use it with, but this is a major error in the product and beginning to be a bit of a disappointment for Joomlaworks that they are not addressing this.  If someone wants to look at my test page and see if they can figure it out, be my guess.

Or you can go to Dawnpurnell.com and click on the works menu and then Canvas-test.

thanks

I played with this a little tonight and I read in another post about changing line 140 of the jwsigpro.php file to $images[] = trim($f); though this looks promising to me, and I really know nothing about coding php, still a beginner in that area, I think there is still a error in line 138 because even after making that change I still got the same error.  maybe the jpg needs to be jpeg or something, but I found if I used a image batch program and just changed the files to png files the software works fine.  Just make sure all related folders are cmod 777 and the plugin is published and that your pop-up engine is not conflicting with anything on the page.  mine didn't like mootools due to conflict.  but that is for another day.

I really hope that joomlaworks is rapidly working on a update that will address this, they have a GREAT set of mods and plugs going here and I have always and hope to recommend all them in the future.

Cheers!
