Can you tell me the default dimensions of images in the lightbox?

I'm uploading mine at 800x640 pix, but these are bigger thean the lightbox window and there is some distortion is taking place. I would prefer to resize them to the window size; this would give a smaller, faster loading image. So, if i know the default size, I can size them accordingly to fit.
