Using SIGP for Gallery of Movies? was created by Roger Bolton
Hello,

I have bought both SIG Pro and Frontpage slideshow and I am very happy with them.

I have a suggestion for a new feature in SIG Pro which I think you could add very easily.  What I want to do is to upload a directory of quicktime movies, and thumbnails which are named like "moviename_thumb.jpg".  I then want SIG Pro to display to the user a gallery of the jpgs (with captions) but to zoom to play the movie in a lightbox instead of a higher res version of the jpg.  You would only need to add some code for changing the link to the mov instead of the jpg for this to work.

I am creating the thumbnails automatically from quicktimes using CocoThumbX which works really well for me and can place a QT logo over the corner and other nice looks.

maybe you are adding this in AllVideo 3 with playlists?  However the important feature for me is that it should auto create the gallery from all videos in the directory, I don't want to have to make playlist files manually.

thanks

anyone have any idea how hard it would be to modify the code to do this myself?
