I have used the free version on a couple of sites over the past couple years without issue.

I purchased the Pro version a couple months ago and just did my first install of it. The plugin is published; default configurations set; gallery folder in images/stories directory; temp folder has 777 permissions and located at images/stories/temp; the site is hosted by one of the best Joomla hosting companies - Rochen; and the simplest syntax is being used in my article:

    {gallery}class_photos{/gallery}

I am using a Rocket Theme template and all I see is the code syntax repeated on the page....???

What else can I check?

EDIT:
Sometimes you just have to ask the question in order to get an answer....
I think I had either an old, non Joomla 1.5 compatible version, or a corrupt version of the plugin.

After downloading it again and reinstalling, the plugin worked flawlessly...just like I'm used to :)

The configuration instructions rendered correctly also, whereas the previous version only rendered the raw code.  Happy days!
