Hi there,

I can use some help to figure out what scripting conflict(s) I have that cause the clicked thumbnail appear in a new, blank window.  I've tried selecting all the different popup engines in the admin tool, and that didn't work.  Thank you!

Hi my friend!

In the source code of the page of your site, as notice the load of the mootools library twice. One from the sig pro and one from rt_firenzie template.
This is a reason why we have a js conflict.

You said that you used already the others engine, as Thikbox or Lytebox.
Those engine use other js library. Can you please select from the backend of the plugin one of the Lytebox-Thickbox engines to check what js conflict you have with those engine?

If you want to use the lightbox engine you have to remove the reference to the mootools library or from the sig pro or from the template.
In this way you will have loaded the js library only one time, where is the right way for no conflicts.

Thank you!

Thank you

I have this problem but the solution is not understood. I deleted the mootool.js file from my media/system/js/ directory but somehow it is still getting inserted so I have both mootool.js files loading

how do you disable one of them?

Hi my friend!

You haven't delete the mootools.js from your server!
Just, remove the reference ( <script ... >mootools.js</scipt> ) from the plugins file. But be sure that the template already makes a reference to this library.

Thank you!

Hello,

I am having the same problems. All worked fine with the free version. I purchased the Pro version and now can not get any of the pop-ups to work. As others have said, when thumbnail is clicked, the image just opens in a new window without any effects working.

I have read all these posts referring to the problem, but I do not at all understand the solution being offered!

I am using Joomla 1.0.12.

Can anyone please explain what file that I need to edit? Which index.php file? The template, the mambot file or which one exactly? And then, what needs edited/added/deleted to make this work?

How can the free version work seemlessly and not the Pro? I desperately needed the captions of the pro version... but, I am very frustrated... please help?

If someone can help, I will pm or email the url... It is a client site and I just don't know that I should post the url publicly with a problem attached to it!

Any help would be so very, very much appreciated.

Greetings
I'm not much help for this issue.  If fact, I share the problem.
I first started with the free version and found it working in FF3. (cool)
But then in IE7, the image will open a new window when selected.
All the talk was that this would not be a problem in the pro version.
Well, my experience is that it is still a problem.
I have selected/tried all the different pop up engines with the
same results throughout: FF works, IE Doesn't.  There's too much
chitty chat about what to change in the code to make it work.
Conflicts should be coded around.  Don't borrow other peoples
code, write your own.
I have a limited site with very view (maybe no other) features
that could cause a problem.
There are so many variables in computer programming.  Just having
multiple browsers is enough.  But it doesn't end there obviously.
I can only wonder now.  Is it easier to make it work with the
free or the paid version?  I think I may like the features in the
paid, so I'm on that route.

What I wish is that the pros at Joomlaworks work out all the issues
before creating a PRO version.  If this product was a slam dunk
working gem, it would be worth far more than what is charged.
If I paid more (for what I have), I would ask for a refund at this
point because (my) problems aren't being solved.
Honest, make it slam dunk work.  And I'll pay four times the
current fee.  With all the time people have to fuss developing
Joomla, joomlaworks shouldn't be a source of (more) frustration.

obtw:
I'm using tabs and slides.  It's great!
I'm using the slide show..  It's great!

Update on my experience with this topic:
I have a very simple site I built to sell a big toy
as seen here:
www.hobie-tiger-formula18-racing-catamaran.com
To try to clear up any "conflict" problem, I unpublished all but:

Components:
Contacts
JCE
sh404SEF
Weblinks
Xmap

Modules:
Main menu
Other menu

Bots:
This product sig pro
Load module position.

And for me, still, in IE7 the pop up goes to a new window.
I've cleared cache, rebooted, and still same.

But, I had a friend test this for me on her machine, and
for her the popups work properly in IE

The popup engine is currently set to Litebox based on MooFX
I guess I'll leave it
