I have a fresh instal of joomla 1.5 and installed the "simple image galerry pro" on a localhost.

If i look at "help" -- "system info" --- "Directory Permissions" then i see that all folders are "Writable" (i do see the images/stories/ folder here but not the images/stories/temp ?)

In a article a have put this line: {gallery}fotos{/gallery} because in the stories folder i have a folder with the name "fotos"
In that folder are 8 pictures with .jpeg extension.

The gallery is not showing at all.

What i am doing wrong?

I got the same problem.  I got the code on an article and no luck.

Previously i got an error with plugin_jw_sigpro.php  had to change mambots to plugins in the path. I'm using 1.5

I don' think this works with 1.5.

I did the same and it didn't work still

If the temp folder doesn't exist, please create it manually.
At the "source view" can you see the html generated from the plugin?

i used images with .jpeg but it has to be .jpg

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie today.
I too have this problem, can't see any images.
:-[I have now solved the problem, the root of the images/stories/ default setting worked once I had closed the gaps in this code,
{gallery}big{/gallery}
I also changed the settings on the folder permissions in Vista to 'Full Control', so we have a fix.

It is a fantastic plugin and may I thank you guys on the forum.

OLD QUESTION BELOW LINE
Do I need to change the slashes in the plugin parameters settings from '/' to '\'
so, \images\stories\big\ , where 'big' has the images inside.

{ gallery }big{ /gallery }

I use the vista os on plain laptop.
