OK, I'm not a newbie to SIG PRO. I've used it for a few years on JOOMLA 1.0x without any difficulties at all. Now I've upgraded to JOOMLA 1.5, have installed SIG PRO for 1.5, and I can't get it to work.

I see that this is a common issue among people, as I've searched the forums. And I've yet to find an answer. I've tried changing the trailing slashes, tried changing the /stories/temp/ folder to chmod 777, 644, 755; I've tried installing and reinstalling. It don't work. This is not the usual behavior for your usually excellent and foolproof programs.

The SIG basic for 1.5 works just fine.

Please explain how to fix this, or, please upgrade your plug in so that it becomes "idiot proof". Like it was before.

Thanks! The Frontpage Slideshow, btw, works great.

Oh, I use the FTP layer that JOOMLA 1.5 allows, to install components and other things. I am adverse to having anything chmod 777 in my site (having been victim to various hacking attempts with JOOMLA 1.0x). All of my other components, plugins and modules work fine.

I think the issue has to do with your plug in, not working well with the new FTP layer that Joomla 1.5 allows us to use.

The basic SIG 1.5 works great. Working pre production site is at 208.116.44.197/

Thanks!
