I have purchased this nice piece of software but I don't get it to work with the lightbox effect. I would like to warn you that the template I use is RocketTheme's TerranTribune which has not tested enough to be released.

Initial I pointed out that the SIGP mambot was not working, but it seems that it is the template I work with that causes the problems.

I tested SIGP with ColorMatic and it works great; so I have to appologize for being somewhat short minded when I wrote my initial message about your mambot.

Loesung: Installation von Joomla 1.5.6 (wichtiges Sicherheits-Update).

Die Simple Image Gallery 1.2 PRO (SIG PRO) funktionierte mit den aktuellen Rockettheme-Templates wie TerranTribune nicht, wenn man die aelteren Joomla-Versionen 1.5.0 bis 1.5.5 verwendete. Das System brachte eine Fehlermeldung, es war nur noch eine weisse Seite zu sehen. Statt der SIG-PRO-Version musste man die kostenlose Version von SIG 1.2.1 verwenden.

Die Loesung brachte das Joomla-Update 1.5.6, das aus Sicherheitsgruenden ohnehin absolut notwendig ist. Die Kombination Joomla 1.5.6/TerranTribune 1.5.2/SIG 1.2 PRO funktioniert einwandfrei.

Achtung: SIG-PRO 1.2 funktioniert nur, wenn die Bild-Dateien nur Kleinbuchstaben enthalten. Wenn Grossbuchstaben verwendet werden gibt es eine Fehlermeldung "Image type not supported"(siehe nächster Beitrag)
Also z. B. eine Bild-Datei nicht Test.jpg, sondern test.jpg benennen.

Solution: Joomla-Update 1.5.6 (very essential Security-Update)

Simple Image Gallery 1.2 PRO (SIG PRO) didn't work, with Templates of Rockettheme, like TerranTribune, if you used the Joomla-Versions 1.5.0 till 1.5.5. The system produced a failure notice and you could only see a white site. Instead of SIG-PRO you had to install the free Version of Simple Image Gallery 1.2.1.

The Joomla-Update 1.5.6 brought the solution. The combination of Joomla 1.5.6/TerranTribune 1.5.2/SIG 1.2 PRO works without problems.

Attention: If you get the warning "Image type not supported", there is a solution. Please don't use capital letters (uppercase letter) but only small letters (lowercase letters). For instance, don't name an image-file Test.jpg but only test.jpg.

keine Grossbuchstaben, sondern nur Kleinbuchstaben im Dateinamen verwenden!

Bild-Dateien die Grossbuchstaben enthalten, fuehren bei SIG-PRO zu einer System-Fehlermeldung, eventuell sogar zu einem weissen Bildschirm:
