Syntax of image file names was created by Antonin Sprinzl

Friends around,

I just bought the SIG1,2 and quickly realized that the image file names has to be in lower case. I´ve got immediate crash with file names like buddy.JPG, Buddy.jpg or BUDDY.JPG. Changing the file name to buddy.jpg I´ve finally GOT the buddy displayd. Is that generally true, or EVEN a "feature" or I overlooked some switch somewhere deep inside J.1.5.5?? I dont want to change the file names.

Any help appreciated ...

Now having more time to check older posts ... found relevant hint from Konrad couple contribs back ...
