Hi

I just bought Simmple image gallery pro but it not supported the jpg or png it only supported gif. when i tryed with jpg it gave me this writing -

Image type not supported and the page become white.


then i try png it gave me this writing

Image type not supported

If i need to use gif it gonabe hard for me to do that i have 1000s of image. please help. its very important for me to solve this problem by next two days.

I just had EXACTLY the same problem

I posted the help topic last night still im looking for help. can any one help me ????? or what abt the joomlaworks ???? they are selling the product but no help!!!!! Please any one can help??? ??? ??? :'( :'(

Check your PHP settings to see if you have the appropriate PHP settings turned on. In Joomla 1.5 you would go to Help > System Info, which brings up the Information section. Select (click on) the PHP Information section and scroll down to "gd" portion of the page and see what the graphic types are set to.

To utilize .jpg and .png images, the appropriate gd version needs to be installed and configured. Unfortunately, I don't really know how to instruct you on how to do that, but this should at least point you in the right direction.

This is a bug ( already post in this forum, with the fix )
try to rename the images to lowercase

The sig pro of course support .jpg, .png and .gif images
