Is there an easy way to convert an existing Site Galery into a K2 Gallery in SIGPro? I recently added K2 into a site that already contained galleries in SIGPro and I was hooping not to have to recreate all of the galleries...

Hi,

The only way to do this is copy the gallery from the K2 galleries path ( media/k2/galleries/X ) to the site galleries path ( images/galleries/X ) . Note that the "images/galleries" part is only an example. The actual value depends on the path you have entered in the settings page.

images/galleries/X --> media/k2/galleries/X

You are right, however just adding the images in the filesystem is not enough for creating K2 galleries. You also need to update the "gallery" field in the #__k2_items database table.
