But can I place a gallery also in a module?

Placing in an articles gives me a problem: modules in the right sidebar are being expelled, the hole sidebar is driven to the bottom of the page. I can not prevent that by tweaking css.

And yes, I’m using a responsive template, of course. Joomla 341, SIGpro 304. No K2.

This sounds like a conflict with your template's CSS. Is there a link to the page with the issue? You can place the gallery inside a module. Use the Custom HTML module and make sure that you have set it's option "Prepare content" to "Yes".

Solved.
Setting 'Prepare content' to 'yes' was the solution.
