Please, take a look at these two galleries on the same site, with same template:

www.vorrei.org/ambiente/1-ambiente/328-un-altro-centro-commerciale-chi-ne-sentiva-la-mancanza.html


The first one works perfectly, the second one none, it opens the images into another page (_blank target?).

I got the issue with all the pop-up templates.

Update.
It works with Greybox and Lytebox pop-up template. Maybe there is a conflict with others.
