I want to be able to show captions from the Title or ALT variables.

So for example if an image is </img src=ABC alt=XYZ, title=XYZ />

I want SIGPRO to show the array of images along with the caption ("XYZ") in the above example. Is this possible? this is a deal maker/breaker for me as I'm using this with Form2Content.

You can change completely the markup of the gallery by creating an override for the layout you are using. Instructions can be found at the documentation page at www.joomlaworks.net/support/docs/simple-image-gallery-pro ( look out for the section named "MVC templates: the power to customize the look of your galleries" ) .

This means that you could use the text you enter in the title field (in the administration area of the gallery ) as the alt or title attribute in the front-end.

Its actually the other way around. I want the ALT attribute of the image to become the caption of the image in the gallery.

Let me explain - I use form2content 6.10.0 as my article submission interface. In the submission interface, authors can upload several images with ALT and TITLE attributes. I want those TITLES to also become the caption of the images in the gallery.
