I am building a site for me wedding and have been playing around with SIG free and really like what it does. I would like to use the single thumbnail option and so realise i need to pay for the pro version which is fine but i just wondered if there is any way to select which thumbnail is the single thumbnail? will it just use the first image in the folder every time?

i ask because what i want to do is have an article with SIG thumbs dotted throughout (in a table to align them left and right) but ideally would love to have say three different thumbs in one article, all linked to the same gallery.

So looking at the article i can see my text and three images nicely spaced on the screen and no matter which image i click on, i am moved into the same gallery of images.

i have worked out a way of bodging it by just making three identical galleries and linking to them individually but that will obviously slow the site down more than i would like.

Also i wondered if people will get 1.3 when it arrives if they have already bought 1.2 or if they will have to pay again.

You can use the single mode, but the script use the first image found I'm afraid...

With this mode, you can use tree galleries.
You can use the singe mode, in the same page if you want to have three thumbs to index to 3 different galleries.

If you have a lot of images in each gallery, the system will be slowed, this is true.
The script needs all the images preloaded to work.

About the next versions of sig pro, will use the same policy as FPSS.

which i have to assume is what you meant.

does the next version allow you to select which single image will be displayed by any chance? or is there part of the script that says "find image 1" when images are sorted alphanumerically that i can poke around inside?

my brother is going to see if he can get it to do it when i buy it. he managed to get the next and previous buttons to appear at all times and thinks he might be able to make the changes i want.
