I am interested in purchasing Simple Image Gallery PRO because I have an image gallery that needs captions.  I downloaded and implemented the Simple Image Gallery, but it causes my template menu to not work:

and with gallery

I looked up similar issues in the SIG support forum, but could find no solution.  I am hesitant to purchase the PRO version of the gallery if it will have the same issue. 

Is the PRO version the same code with more features?  Should I anticipate the same problem?

What exactly issue you have with the sig free?
I checked out your page with IE7 and FF and I didn't see some issue with the menu.

Can you post some screenshot?

The folder you selected for the gallery, has 2 version of the image? a big one and a thumb?

Thanks for taking a look at the site.  This is my first Joomla site.  I love your UCD and AllVideos.  They work perfectly!

This gallery is a test, so I just used a random image folder with images and thumbs in it.

Maybe the menu issue is just on a Mac (I tested on Firefox and Safari), but all the menu items except "Home" disappear on the gallery page.  I think they are incorrectly being rendered vertically behind the image, instead of horizontally above the image like on the other pages. 

It must be some conflict between the menu script and gallery script.

I have done a little more research on SIG Pro.  I am hoping that between Greybox, Lytebox, Slimbox, etc. I could get it to work with my template menu which is from veero.net.  I ended up using Ignite Gallery on the site.  But I showed it to the client today, and Ignite Gallery isn't doing exactly what he wants.  He wants captions on the thumbnails and on the image.  Does SIG Pro allow labels on the thumbs and captions in the image popup?  I just saw labels on the thumbs in the demo.  What is the max image limit per gallery?  We are limited to 30 by Ignite Gallery which is somewhat annoying.

About your questions.
The Sig Pro support labels on the thumbs, but in this forum we have post a hack that gives you the option to have also labels on the popup.

The Sig Pro doesn't have a limitation about the number of images
BUT we noticed after several test and as our customers reported to us, that the server has difficulties when it try to create the thumbs of more that 20-30 images. After the caching of the images it isn't a problem. And I believe that this is a common reason that why these kind of
gallery doesn't recommend the use of a bif number of images in the same page.

The "pagination" feature ( the fix about the above issue ) it isn't supported from this version of sig Pro. It is in beta testing for the next release.

I am using the VJ-POIRGO template from veero.net, so maybe I should ask if they use JQuery, mooTools, etc.  I actually haven't seen the site on a PC.  It really could just be a Mac issue.

I look forward to your next release with pagination.  I think it will work perfectly for us.  When is it expected?
