Troubles with layout was created by Dieter

How will I be able within a gallery to tell the system how far I want to be the pictures apart in 'x' and 'y'.As I am not the most experienced web designer, I hope to question isn't to stupid. Bought SIG Pro yesterday and playing with it right now. ???
