Ok, Im running joomla 1.5 for a website. But my ftp server provider don't allow ftp connection from the web, so I copyed the installation zip file plugin_jw_sigpro-j15-1.2.zip to the root of the server and then using install from directory: /home/org/user/www/htdocs/plugin_jw_sigpro-j15-1.2.zip which didn't work, error msg: please enter a package directory.

So I went over to the servermanager and he helped me manually installing the plugin and giving the read access to the necessary folders, so no error messages showed on the webpage I'm running. The plugin shows in the joomla pluginmanager and I can enable/disable it, but there are no plugin parameters showing in the edit menu.

I also tried using the command for {gallery}gallery{/gallery} but it doesn't work :) you can see the result here: kjellern.huset.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=6&Itemid=5

I really need to get this going so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Can you check out, please, if all the necessary files are on the right place?
The params of the plugin are stated inside the xml file of the plugin.

I believe that, during the installation of the plugin, joomla sets the plugin inside the database. Can you see it at the #__plugins table?

I'm very new to joomla and only know basic HTML coding, please where is the plugin table located? :)

The plugin is shown in plugin manager.

and the files of the plugin is located on the server where we put it:
/home/org/user/www/htdocs/jwsigproplugin

I see the xml file there.

Do I have to change code somewhere to make the {gallery} command work properly?
