My site sabjanta.info is on Joomla 1.0.12

I first installed SIG free version and it was working perfectly. As I wanted labels for each picture, I installed SIG Pro again. While running the system displayed some error - so I first uninstalled both SIG free and Pro then installed SIG Pro afresh and it worked perfectly till I clicked on individual picture. It opened new window with the picture but without any navigation or close button.

previously big picture used to display with a transparent black background (as shown in your demo) but now opens a new window with big picture.

I have tried all the available options like "simplebox", "Thickbox" etc... but result was the same. ---Please help

As I can see from page's source code
you are using the slimbox engine for the popup.
This engine uses ( and load ) the mootools js librarybut as we can see, you are using also the ja_slideshow module.
This module loads also the mootools js library
This is the reason for the "new window" issue. Javascript conflict.
As you said, you have already used the Thickbox or Litebox engine?
Those 2 engines don't use the mootools library and you can use them for your site without conflicts.

Try to re-select one of those 2 libraries, clear your browser cache and check the page again.

Also, leave the engine to Thickbox or Litebox, so I'll can see the "page source" again.

As I can see, from the load of the page, we have an js error.
The firebug returns an error from the mootools library loaded from your template.

Try to update the mootools js library of your template ( you are useing the 1.1 version as I saw )
Also try the Greybox engine that doens't use mootools or jquery
and probably you will not have conflicts.

If you can, please, select the Greybox, and tell me to check out the result again!

As I can see ( under FF3 and IE7 ) the Greybox engine works just perfect!

You just need only to read also this post .
It's a tip for the grid of the thumbs, inside the page.
