Hi all,

I'm having trouble with the thumbnail sizing and spacing, and no matter how I change the CSS it doesn't seem to have any effect.

First some background:

Initially, I had SIG (non pro) installed, and I had that working the way I wanted, but I needed better performance and more control over different gallery style so I bought the pro version.

I uninstalled SIG, then I installed SIG Pro and enabled the plugin.

This is all on a Windows 2003 Server.

Anyway, I noticed right away with the default setting that the thumbnails were larger than I wanted, as in this photo:

However, when I changed the width and height either in the plugin or by setting the parameters in the article itself, not only did the photos NOT resize tot he correct size, the spacing was off and they overlapped each other, as seen in this photo:

I've tried pretty much every option in the css file to adjust the spacing, and it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas how I can get the sizing and spacing working correctly? Thanks!

Do you want smaller the images thumb or the div that include them ( with smaller paddind )?
When you changed the size settings, have you tried to remove the thumbs for the temporary folder? In this way the sig pro would create new thumbs.

A direct link to the gallery will be very helpful to understand better the issue!

Ahh! you led me down the correct path!

My server is windows and the permissions were not set correctly to the temp folder! I made the folder writable and now all is well. Thank you!

Well, I spoke too soon! I still think this is a permission problem, but since I'm on a windows server, and most installs seem to be *nix, I think there might be some more research to try to figure out how to apply the correct permissions settings. Curses!
