Problem With Pop-Up Engine was created by jbottero
I've successfully installed the plug-in. It's very nice.

1)

However, the pop-ups are not working, rather the images open in a new window.

I have the pop-up engine set to Slimbox (mootools). Is the pop-up not compatible with FireFox?

What am I doing wrong?

2)

Is there a way to show a specific thumbnail inline with the text of the article?

- Thanks!

Hi there!

Could you post a direct link to the gallery to check out the issue?!

Try to use some other popup engine, such as Litebox or Greybox.
Slimbox could have some javascript conflict with other plugins or with the template itself.

About your second question I can't see a quick method to do it with this version.

Thank you!

It seems to be only with MooTools, and only with FireFox (which is too bad because it's the version that looks the best). Others work "OK" with slight problems. See below.

Which would be fine, but there must be an error in the Gallery code: When I use Lytebox (which does work), the "X" image to close the box is missing. On close examination, the URL for it is shown as:

mydomain.com/some_section/some_category/plugins/content/jwsigpro/lytebox/english/closelabel.gif

I think obviously it should be:

mydomain.com/plugins/content/jwsigpro/lytebox/english/closelabel.gif

Where do I edit the code to fix this?

I'm sorry, here's the link. It's just a test site.

insidetacoma.com

Why would the "Close X" image have a problem with the path but not the "Prev" and "Next"?

Slimbox (mootools) is much smoother than Lytebox, but only works with Internet Explorer, not FireFox v. 3 (I don't know about Opera, I don't have it loaded right now).

The issue of the "Close button" has to do with how the js code is created by his owner.
The js looks for a relative path.

Probably, we will try to hack this js code
Until now, we've left this code as it, cause the updates of his creator.

Slimbox works on Firefox 3, I use FF3 without problems.
Probably there is a conflict with the template or with some other plugin
who uses the mootools library.

Thank you!

Interesting. I don't use any other third party plugins. Do you have any speculation on which standard plugins or plugin type I might try disabling / uninstalling to see which one is the culprit?
