Simple Image Gallery PRO: 3.1.0

Hello,
I just noticed that all my galleries thumbnails are now being generated using only one image instead than each of the images contained in the gallery folder.

Here are some examples:
accademiainfinita.it/arte/17-mandala/37-mandala-universo-ramificato
accademiainfinita.it/arte/18-arte-figurativa/130-ritratti-energetici-3

fi I click the single tumbnails then the correct image is being displaied int he lightbox, it's judt an issue with the thumbnails.
I already tried to clear the Joomla cache and browser cache, it doesn't solve the issue

I am using the following sintax
I also checked the galleries in the backend, everything seems alright there, I can see the thumbnail of the single images when I browse the galleried through the backend component

Any idea what could be causing this strange issue?
