I would like to create a module which shows the latest image added to a photo-gallery on my homepage. I tried to create a html module with the ligpro shortcode:
{gallery}myfolder:300:300:1:0{/gallery}

but this doesn't work. The module displays the the code, not the gallery. Is there a way to show the most recent uploaded image?

You need to enable the "Prepare Content" setting in the module's params.

Still one question: I would like to see the latest addition in the module, so that if I add a new image, this image is shown. But it seems to stick to the first item.

I assume you are using the single thumbnail mode, if that is the case, then simply reverse the ordering.

I've found it. It's called Reverse Default. (Reverse Date would be more a more clear name ;-) )
But isn't this a general setting for all galleries? I'm using more than one gallery, but just this specific ones needs to have a reverse date order.

Yes, this is a global setting.
Unfortunately it can't be applied on a per gallery basis.
