Default Sort Order was created by tami

What IS the default sort order for Simple Image Gallery?
I find in Global Configuration the following:

Default
Alphabetical
Alphabetical (case insensitive)
Reverse Default
Random

None of those indicate to me the definition of the default sort order.
Date?
Created Date?
Modified Date?
3rd letter in 2nd word?

What is it?

The default is LIFO and the reverse default is FIFO.

OK, then why does www.redpianoartgallery.com/artists/painters/morten-solberg this gallery show "High Tide on Pinckney Island" as image #4? It was just uploaded today; it should show up first.

I can't see that image. But the filename order in the HTML source is correct.

File NAME order??
I have SIG Pro set to default, which should be LIFO. (last in, first out)

No, the default sorting is alphabetical. Sorting uses PHP's sort() as the basis - more here: php.net/manual/en/function.sort.php

Additionally, for SIGPro support you should only use the helpdesk please.

Then for God's sake, why did Krikor tell me default was LIFO??

As I have tried before, I cannot because I do not have a current subscription. You can check my purchase history. And I'm sorry, but I'm not interested in paying Again until I have this issue resolved.

Yeah, well, that's why you maintain a subscription. Which also supports other software, freely available (like K2, AllVideos, Simple Image Gallery Free and so on...).
