That means your community's users or your site's content contributors can now use the handy Simple Image Gallery Pro editor button to upload and manage image galleries for their content. This option is applicable to any Joomla extension that allows frontend editing for its content (e.g. K2 or the default Joomla article system).


How do I disable this and let every user see the default image path, that you see in the backend?

I do not want it to function like this, so where do I manually change the path?

Yeah.. I looked at the coding and it is not as easy as just changing the path.

That's not a really good work around and defeats the purpose of have SIGpro.

You do make my point about the security issue being mute. I use JCE and my users have access to the /images directory.
So what's the point of making them have their own or not having an on/off switch for this feature.
I can see why you would have separate directories in some cases. Just not this time.

I noticed when logged into the front as SuperAdmin it functions like the backend.
I'd rather not, but I can just assign client as superadmin and we don't have to make the extra steps for dealing with content and galleries in separate places.
