I'm wondering if I can do this:

I have several users who regularly want to add photos to their articles.  How do I set it up so they can easily upload them by themselves and I don't have to do it for them?

Only if you give them access to the backend and follow the same procedure with you.

You could give an ftp restrict access to anyone image folder.
The plugin doesn't have any automatic feature of this kind
but it's an idea that we will add in our "to do" list!

Yes, I think many would like this feature.  My users are not going to access the back end of joomla.  They just want to be able to upload photos -- exactly as you do with nant's cb gallery in community builder.  Please consider adding this.
