Hey guys. Ive been using SIG PRO for about 6 months now and love it.. The only thing I still have issues with is the single thumbnail to enter my galleries..

I'll try to explain this as much as I can...
My site is based on picture galleries as its main items, now on my joomla 1.5 category section "gallery" I call it, it only has the name of each article, no thumb picture to display what is in the article/gallery of each set of pictures.. I would like there to be a thumb of one picture, instead of or with the writing of what the article/gallery is. If you need username and password to get into my site to see what I am referring to, please ask. I love all features of SIG and would love to try to figure this last thing out.

I have asked this similar question in the past, but now it is becoming important for the growth of my site. I am still a novice when it comes to Joomla, so please explain it out to me or let me know where I can find the answers. Thanks so much for your time and looking forward to hearing back from you.

If it helps at all I'll give a sample here... I click on my gallery section and this is what it looks like:

Now, instead of it just saying "fire place" as the title of the gallery, I would like it to show a thumb of the first pic in the set to show my members what the set generally looks like. It will not do this for me. I tried to put my joomla SIG Pro plugin to single thumb mode and all it does is make a single thumb on the actual article page, not on the article title page and when I click on that single thumb, all it does is enlarge the one thumb that is being displayed and not the whole gallery. I have my pop up engine set to litebox (based on MOO.FX) as it is the one said to work best with Joomla 1.5.

That should explain a bit more to of what Im looking to do..I hope...

Hi there!

Well, you need a hack in the com_content component of the joomla system.
The sig pro is just a plugin that works inside the content of an item.
And I'm not sure that this hack you want is functional.

I believe that it's better to create a blog list that a category list
and inside the introtext of any of the blogs you can use the single thumb functionality
of the sig pro.

It's better to search also a component that is a completed photo gallery with its categories, subcategories etc.
In this way you will not need to hack any core file of the joomla system.
