Hi,

Is it advisable to not use the underscore character ( _ ) or numbers in the naming of images?

On some of my galleries i am getting the error: Warning: getimagesize [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in Image type not supported

which has been discussed and the solution has been no Uppercase characters.

I am still getting the error but i have no uppercase but i do have numbers and underscores.

(Please note: This is working no problem on my localhost which has exactly the same code and exactly the same DB.)

Thanks very much for your prompt response!

I have had the problem resolved - we had 2 guys working on the images and 1 of the guys had used uppercase letters.

So just to be precise;
1.The plugin DOES accept numbers and underscores.
2. As mentioned in other posts - it Doesn't accept uppercase letters without a small hack.
