I'm new to the forum.
I tried SIG free version and it looks like a good piece of software. I will gladly go to PRO version if SIG Pro can be used for sub galleries.

To clarify: I have a Joomla site and using old SPGM gallery software:
keeper.sharanet.org/index.php?option=com_mambospgm&Itemid=32

I'm thinking of switching to SIG Pro (in fact, I would be very pleased if I could make that step), but I don't know if SIG Pro can do something like that (see URL above).

I apologize If this is a lame question, but since I don't have SIG Pro installed, I can only try to imagine what can be done with it according to lise of featured on JoomlaWorks website.

Can anyone give me some hints?

Maybe I was unclear about what I had in mind.

For example, I have 3 galleries, each in it's directory:

drwxr-xr-x  2 keeper  www  4608 Jun  8  2006 07_ZOO_Maksimir
drwxr-xr-x  2 keeper  www  2560 Jun  8  2006 08_Bundek
drwxr-xr-x  2 keeper  www  3584 Mar 13 12:28 09_Mirogoj

Is there a way to use SIG Pro to generate index of these galleries or should I try to write such code myself?

The script should read parent directory and generate formated code similar to this:
{gallery}parrent_directory/07_ZOO_Maksimir{/gallery}
{gallery}parrent_directory/08_Bundek{/gallery}
{gallery}parrent_directory/09_Mirogoj{/gallery}

Of course, I would have to use SIG Pro's feature to generate only one thumbnail per gallery.

Maybe such script already exist but I'm unaware of it?

Hi there!

I'm afraid that you'll need to write some of custom code.
The sig pro just presents the images of a folder using the lightbox effect.
It doesn't create any index for subfolders of parentsfolder.

It's a cool idea to put in our "to do" list for the next version of sig pro
but I'm, afraid this feature doesn't exist in the current version.

Looks like it's gonna be another plugin coding for me this month.  ;D

Going for a migration to Joomla 1.5. Already did a lot of work, but there is more to be done. I will put this on my TODO list.

And I will purchase SiG Pro since I think you did a great job and I definitely want to use SiG Pro as my new gallery plugin.
