I have to protect my gallery photos as they are copyright protected - my main Joomla index.php contains a Javascript that disables right-click (and delivers a warning popup), however this doesn't work in the gallery.

Can you tell me where I can insert this code to protect the SIG photos...?

Well my friend. I have to inform you that this javascript doesn't protect your images.
We are not use those js because we know that don't do the work we need.

You can understand that if any wants to download you pictures, he can do it easily!
Anybody can select from their browser "File -> Save page as..." and they will have the entire page ( with all the images ) downloaded in their pc!

I realize that there is no way to protect images completely - but most users who steal photos use right-click, "save image as.."

What I would like to do is place this Javascript in the SIG module, which will generate the same warning popup - at least it will warn those who are stealing my images.

Can you tell me where I should place this in the module..?

wow. a smart @$$ admin comment. tat comment followed by two more questions, and then the "stare" as i call it now. unbeleivable. a simple "our program is not set up for this, but you might be able to hack it to work" would have been too much huh? that could have been followed with, "do what you will, but we are not responsible for any problems your hacks cause". just too much eh.

we can protect an image or text from being copied if it is in pdf format otherwise it will be easly copied.
