I just upgraded top pro, downloaded the .zip, uninstalled the demo, installed the pro and now get the message below on any gallery:

/images/stories/Finals_1080/300ft_flyover_seta_fg_nl2haze_0000.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/p/i/x/pixelgraft/html/jonwhisman/plugins/content/jwsigpro/sigpro_engine.php on line 86
Image type not supported

This was working before, so it doesn't seem as backwards compatible as stated. I'm hoping I don't have to due any tweaks (in lieu of backwards compatibility to old version, but any help is appreciated.

Hi there!

Can you please post a direct link to the gallery?

If you have your images with uppercase names, look this post .

Thank you!

Well...

the error message reports that it cannot take the info of the image
http://www.jonwhisman.com/images/stories/Finals_1080/300ft_flyover_seta_fg_nl2haze_0000.jpg

If you click on that image, the server returns the error message

The requested URL /images/stories/Finals_1080/300ft_flyover_seta_fg_nl2haze_0000.jpg was not found on this server.

Can you please confirm that the image exists?
If the image exists but it isn't save with this exactly name ( you have it with uppercase characters ) check out the link I gave in the previous post.

Thank you!

renaming all of the files to lowercase filenames solves the issue. Why is it that upper / lower case files work with simple, but not with pro?

I like the features of pro, but I do not feel that bulk renaming my entire library for this is really worth the time. Will the functionality that 'simple' has for working with upper  /lower case be an enhancement for a future build of 'pro'?

Why you didn't apply the patch given in the previous post?
In this way you will be able to use images with uppercased names.

The direct link to the patch is

Thank you!

that works fine and I did the edit, but I really think you need to include this patch in your next release.

You state on your website about the backwards compatibility, but if you're requiring all users to hack some of your PHP to truly get this to work, then it's not really backwards compatible.

I would reccommend you include this data in your plug-in parameters text within the plugins module, or include this in your next build.

Backwards compatibility with the free version. You just uninstall the free version, install the PRO version and you're done! No need to re-edit your existing content items (articles) that previously included image galleries, inserted with the free version.
