as you can see, all of my javascript is commented out, and no matter which engine I use. No popup/thickbox.

What am I doing wrong? I have javascript menus installed, and virtuemart but they are disabled..

I don't see any JS being loaded, which also seems wierd.

I got too ancy and just added the js and css files statically to the template header. Works great. But I'd really like to figure out why this wont work by default.

Hmmm.. I can't figure what could go bad.
I would like to see the sigpro as was it, by default, in your site.
Probably the necessary js script weren't loaded properly on the HEAD section of the page.

As it is now the page I can't think something else, I'm afraid.
