  I am facing a problem with filenames of images when hosting my site under Linux / Unix.  The problem relates to case sensitiveness and happens whenever the filename contains a capital letter. I want to know if there is a solution to this problem.

FYI - you didn't state what problem you were having when an image has a capital letter.  Error message? what happens?

Thank you for this notice. The error is a php error stating that getimagesize() cannot find  the image file and the script exits. This happens because Linux/Unix systems are case sensitive unlike Windows.

If the images have any capitals in the file name it throws an error.
This includes the extension.

So
Joomla.jpg  - this will error
joomla.JPG  - this will cause an error.

joomla.jpg  - this is fine.

This was the situation in version 1 of the plugin - I've not manage to get version 2 to work yet.
