hi,
I am fairly new to the joomla world and just downloaded and installed the simple gallery without and issues.

Once I am setting the parameters for the plug-in I notice an error and the top that reads

JFolder::files: Path is not a folder

not sure why I am getting this and how to solve this so the gallery will work.

The use of the sig pro is as easy as possible, but all we need this manual to understand it better! ;)

Can you please post some info about the configuration of the plugin?
We need only the code you insert inside the content item ( {gallery}folder{/gallery} ),
the root path of the plugin ( check the config of the plugin, usually is "images/stories" )
and a direct link to the gallery!

the code that I inserted is {gallery}newArrivals{/gallery}

Hmmm...
I can't find any of the necessary javascripts in the HEAD section  of the page.
Does your template have the code needed to present the heads from the plugins?
Also, do you have any other plugin that uses the same tag ( {gallery} )?

If it's possible I would need an super administrator account to check out the sigpro params and the template.

So I downloaded and installed simple gallery(the free one) just to see if I could get that to work.  And it worked so I am not sure what the issue is with pro.  I have simple gallery disabled so it wouldn't interfere with gallery pro.

I haven't heard back from support in almost a week.

So I decided to try ton install a fresh joomla on a seprate server to see if maybe I did something wrong.

I realized that this component had the same problem as before AND THAT THIS COMPONENT DOES NOT WORK IN JOOMLA 1.5 AND SUPPORT WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOU!!!!

SO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A PLUG-IN FOR JOOMLA 1.5 DO NOT BUY THIS IS WON'T WORK

I JUST WISH SUPPORT WOULD AT LEAST EMAIL ME BACK!!!!

I checked out the plugin and I saw that your system returns this message.

Also, in the param "Layout template for image galleries" we should see all the templates of the plugin.

Cause of those errors I suppose that the plugin isn't installed correctly.

Please, unistall it, check the permissions of the folder of the plugins and re-install the plugin. If the install is ok, all the above errors must disappear. If not, you have to re-check the permissions of the plugin folder.

Also, if I try to change the template of the site, the template changes but not in the page "WHAT'S IN STORE NOW". Have you modified any page of the joomla?

I have the same issue and have tried out uninstall and reinstall. All the permissions are also ok but I still have the error. Could you please advise.

i've got the same problem as well, i installed it and the gallery's are made but the javascript files are not included, i cant find them in the header when i made a gallery. Can u help me? the site is www.wecostaal.nl/web2011
