How to get the caption text??


I am using joomla 1.5.10
i went to Default caption (label) handling
I saw    1) No captions
          2) show generic massage
          3) read contents of captions file

so I choose read contents of captions file,
I save the changes.
But I can't find the caption file in the article or where to find it?

Hey. I am also having the same problem.

Turned "on" the pull-down menu for Default Caption Labeling, (which is not named that way in the plug-in parameters FYI), and could not find the default labels.txt file it was suppose to generate. Hell, it does not even tell you where it would generate it!  >:(

Furthermore, the formatting that is claimed for captions: "image file | caption title | caption description" does not work. It only reads the "caption title".  >:(

Just set the param Default caption (label) handling of the plugin to the value "Read contents of caption files".
