Php 5.1.6, Apache/2.0.52 (CentOS)
GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.0.28 compatible)

This is a demo on the live site:

As you can see all works fine but the thumbnails, only white boxes.
No error message.
I checked permissions on the files, I can't find any about thumbxxx.php.
The free version works, but I need the Pro.

Yes, the problem has to do with the permissions of the files
With 600 we can read the files and this is the problem.

You have to "tell" to your server to use the apache owner when it creates files.
I'll try to find if we can do something in the code
but the imagejpeg function ( used for the creation of the thumbs ) doesn't take params for the permissions. It just uses the permissions gave from the apache.

we have often problems with this kind of files/folders and your scripts on this particular server. It has Plesk as panel, on other site (with Direct Admin and cPanel) we use Simple Image Gallery and Frontpage Slideshow without issue.
