Is there anyway to dummy down the css of the plugin to help with this issue? I have tried all solutions and it does not work.

I don't see a gallery in that page. Are you sure that you have published the plugin, set the image folder correctly, upload the images without uppercase at the extension and put the gallery tags inside the content right?
I noticed also that you have all content inside an h2 tag in that page.
