I downloaded the custom module plugin (forum.joomlaworks.net/index.php?topic=7478.0) and installed it.
Works almost for me ... the module itself is empty (means the h3 graphic is first, than the bottom graphic which closes the module usually and after that the Gallery) but right under the module the gallery appears.
Is there any work around to place the gallery within the module?

PS: I don't have the module at the moment published, but if you take a look at skn.wn-fotos.at/, on the right are all custom modules (Joomla standard). You can see the divider at the end of each module, and with the downloaded module after that divider the gallery shows up ... hope you know what I mean  :-[

I have a similar problem. But maybe the following info could help someone to help find a solution.

I used SIGpro on my Joomla 1.0 website and I was able to place the gallery code inside a custom module that I created. It worked perfectly and I could load the module in any of my template module positions and it displayed the gallery correctly.

But now when I do the same in Joomla 1.5.11 it doesn't show the gallery when in a module. It only works when the code ("e.g. {gallery}mygallery:150:150{/gallery}") is placed within an article.

You could try replacing the custom module with a module like UCD which calls an article. Put the {gallery}{/gallery} in the article and get that article from the module.  :)
