I tried to search for this question, but I couldn't find a clear answer..
(I did read somewhere that Joomfish support might be included in SIG v1.4 - but I need to be sure before I buy the plugin.) So:

Can I use Joomfish to easily translate the comments for each picture in Simple Gallery PRO v2.0?

I need to translate into five different languages without too much hassle.

If you are talking about the labels file, I'm afraid the sig pro doesn't support joomfish.
Otherwise, if you talking about the language file of sig pro, just use the english one to translate it.

I think I mean the labels, but I'm not sure... In the example gallery here on the site, there's a photo with the title "Bond running". I don't need to translate that. But when you open the imaage, you get the description "In this scene he's going for his Aston Martin". That's what I wish to translate!

If this is not possible: do you know if there are any future plans to make SIG compatible with Joomfish, so that it's possible to edit these descriptions the same way one would translate other text/articles?

well, you are talking about labels file!
The label file contains both title and description.

The current version of sig pro doesn't support the connection with joomfish
but it's a feature that we want to add to our plugin.
